Photo misidentified, not Drosera arcturi

[edit]

The photo on the left, labelled "A flowering D. arcturi growing in a crack in sandstone in the upper Waimangaroa River valley in New Zealand" is of Drosera spatulata, not D. arcturi. I will remove it unless there is a good reason not to. MFdeS (talk) 12:05, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good call. I never looked at the image when it was placed there. Guess I should have paid more attention to it! I'll go ahead and remove it now. Cheers, Rkitko (talk) 12:51, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! I have a few photos of D. arcturi I need to sort through, including the giant form. I'll try to find one that's up to scratch.MFdeS (talk) 11:08, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated! We always need more photos of Drosera. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Wikimedia Commons, but if you want to upload your photos there, that'd be great. Then you can add them to the galleries of the different species pages linked from Commons:Drosera so that all the Wikipedia projects including other languages can use your photos. My mistake! I assumed the photo ID was correct. That'll teach me! mgiganteus1 (talk) 21:22, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
